To me he's our most exciting young player. It's not every day someone with that passing ability turns up. Setup for Aguero's goal vs Dortmund was great. Big things ahead for him. For me the most likely player in our Academy to become world class.

Definitely a very good prospect but I didn't see anything much from him today apart from showing he is comfortable on the ball. No doubt at all tho that Pep likes what he sees of him.

Really hope he gets a start vs. Sunderland. He could really help out the CB's and who ever the keeper is bringing the ball out from the back. Out of all our CM's he already has the most composure when bring pressed imo.

I guess that's where Pep will deploy Fernandinho first, given what we've seen so far, so unfortunately Aleix's place at best will be on the bench initially.

That pass at 8:19 for the assist was extraordinary. Had to watch it a few times, the defense was dissected.

from my observations in the friendlies he seems to be the only one who has picked up easily what pep is asking his deeper midfielders to do. fernando and even dhino to a lesser extent seem to have trouble understanding the role.
