I was specifically referring to the fans with perfect 20:20 hindsight who took the opportunity to have a cheap and needless dig at our previous manager, although to be fair they probably didn't see him in training every day either.

Alaba started out as a holding midfield player, much less of a stretch, don't think many saw Kolarov becoming a centre half. In fact 99% of this forum didn't seem to think he was good enough to play for Burnley last season.

Like I said just find it infuriating based on our struggles last season. Cant be arsed arguing with you as the main crux of the thread being how well Kolorov played. Incidentally am not claiming 20/20 vision as I will hold my hands up and admit I would not have shed a tear if he had been moved on.

Deserves massive praise for the way he has stepped up to the challenge put before him with the new manager coming in - this guy was reportedly on the verge of signing for Besiktas until politics intervened but has been one of the star performers so far this season! He is putting a lot of other, more naturally talented, players in the squad to shame
