It was a desperately poor challenge tbf & he was lucky that the ball had gone & the player wrapped his leg around which gave the ref doubt.

But as a confirmed 'Kolarov out' person, I think he's done pretty well so far even at fulllback.

Still can't be sure he won't cave in at any time though & cost us.

I really don't mind the guy and although he brings some things to the team I can't shake this feeling like theres a cock-up just waiting to happen with him... The penalty shout yesterday being a good example which was nailed on IMO. if Mike Dean would have been in a better position he'd have (rightly so) given it

Absolutely excelled again tonight playing Centre Half. Vocal, won headers, tackles and passed the ball excellently both short and long diagonals between the lines. Probably outshining Stones in that respect.

Its not a dig but last year but when you consider our problems at Centre Half its a bit infuriating the previous incumbent could not see the potential for him to play that role.

Hats off to Pep though. It is early days but already the signs are players are improving under his tutelage.

As they always told me in school, many of the world's greatest inventions are the product of a mistake that turns out to work.

Personally I always thought Kolarov was a good player, but not a LB. Thought he should play a LM, but I guess that's why they appointmented Pep and not me.

If you mean the fans we dont watch him in training every day and probably playing that role on a regular basis.
