Yeah, like I said, he's doing okay because he's playing lesser teams. It won't work against top teams as he's too square. Pep will know this.

I'll judge him on the games I've seen so far. He's been in our top 3 performers over the 8 games. I'd rather give him credit for that than call him out as a weakness against supposedly top teams.

Yep, Merson was being a dick and claiming Stones coming on for Kolarov would be the 'quickest substitution ever'. Fairly sure only Fernandinho has played more minutes for us, maybe not even him.

That Bournemouth left back today must have felt like a French soldier at Agincourt. Shitting his pants, one eye permanently on the sky, wondering where the next witheringly accurate salvo was gonna come from. As awesome a display of long range passing as I have e'er seen......

Great decision to start him today. His ability to play a long range pass or have a shot on goal meant Bournemouth couldn't just leave him on the ball too often. Them closing him down meant space was created for our players further forward and the times they chose not too he was confident enough to take the shot or play a difficult pass. He was superb
