Alex Grimaldo

Poking people who are demonstrably smarter than you makes you look stupid.

You're definitely not smart at all. Prove that I was trying to poke. I'm tired of seeing people online posting info on players they barely watch but look up on some football manager game instead to tell their attributes, so I asked whether he was watching the player in Portuguese league or looked up a game and he said he was watching it in Portuguese league.

It was an honest question, I don't know who watches both French and Portuguese leagues in addition to Premier League. I only saw Mendy in a few CL games for example. I looked at Grimaldo on a youtube video but you can't tell a player from those. I saw Benfica in the CL but didn't see Grimaldo, I guess he was injured.
Easily. City is usually on the earliest, Benfica around noon and Monaco after that and still plenty of day left.

Except you didn't ask that. Nice try.

That's because I didn't ask you, I asked him, he understood and responded, I thanked him and we were done.

If I'd asked you obviously I would've had to go slowly in more detail so that you could've understood it.

I streamed Rio Ave v Benfica on 365 at the start of May (I had a bet riding on it) and wasn't impressed with Grimaldo. I'd agree with other comments on here that he is nippy and technically brilliant in tight spaces, but his was positional play was pretty awful - almost reminded me of alberto moreno. Every Rio Ave attack seemed to come down Grimaldo's side - Benfica were desperately hanging on at times.

First impression not great tbh.

It is ridiculous to judge a player off one game. I went to the Bayern v Dortmund game live at the Allianz Arena at the start of april and I thought Dembele was poor. His decision making and crossing in the final third was atrocious. Would that one game determine my opinion on him as a player?

No, it won't.

ie Exactly why I said "first impression"... Just wanted to share considering 99% of us haven't seen him play on a regular basis.
