I never suggested she got her punditry job as a quota filling woman, don't put words like that into my mouth.

There's no pundits, male or female that earn that role, all are handed it to them because they played the game professionally. yet as we've seen over the years, the overlap between having played professionally to a high standard and being able to analysis the game and then on top of that eloquently deliver that analysis on live TV infront of millions isn't as big of an overlap as you'd think.

There's nothing remotely sexist in saying she's a very bland and dull pundit, she fits right in with the rest of them. As I said previously, i've no issue with her getting the presenting role, I don't dislike her, I think it's hard to have an opinion either way on her because she doesn't say much of note. she's the inoffensive bland type the BBC are no doubt looking for and she'll probably be a better presenter than pundit.

It means I think there's a section of people with the mindset of "she's not bad for a woman" as if there's a lower standard of acceptability because she's a woman.

I don't see how people can hate her or rate her, she's just there.
