Rubbish Sir dion Dublin obe and utd legend should of got it :)This is one time where it is not the bog standard 'fine margins'.
As for Alex Scott, she's the female equivalent of Walker and Jermaine Jenas, totally bland and inoffensive, won't be watching as I haven't with Walker.

As well as Sundays he refuses to work on Mondays and alternate Fridays. He used to part host the Open Golf on BBC, (not sure if he did the last one but the bbc gave up their rights early to Sky) ) but he would never be available for the final day as it's a Sunday and his religious beliefs prevent him working on the Sabbath. I don't think he works in football on Sunday's as well.
His choice but he was lucky to be allowed the privilege of picking and choosing.

Ah the man that Ferguson fondly talks of in one of his autobiographies as having a 'magnificent manhood.' Legendary perhaps.Rubbish Sir dion Dublin obe and utd legend should of got it :)
Wow.Not watched FF since Sam Leitch and Bob Wilson.
I never suggested she got her punditry job as a quota filling woman, don't put words like that into my mouth.Nothing to do with her being a women , next to the men who are walking clićhes she is a breathe of fresh air
i hate this fucking notion she and other women get jobs because they are women and not that they have earned it , dinoseur thinking, the glass ceiling is hard enough
Sexist twaddle
What does this mean then ?I never suggested she got her punditry job as a quota filling woman, don't put words like that into my mouth.
There's no pundits, male or female that earn that role, all are handed it to them because they played the game professionally. yet as we've seen over the years, the overlap between having played professionally to a high standard and being able to analysis the game and then on top of that eloquently deliver that analysis on live TV infront of millions isn't as big of an overlap as you'd think.
There's nothing remotely sexist in saying she's a very bland and dull pundit, she fits right in with the rest of them. As I said previously, i've no issue with her getting the presenting role, I don't dislike her, I think it's hard to have an opinion either way on her because she doesn't say much of note. she's the inoffensive bland type the BBC are no doubt looking for and she'll probably be a better presenter than pundit.
It means I think there's a section of people with the mindset of "she's not bad for a woman" as if there's a lower standard of acceptability because she's a woman. What does this mean then ?
"She seems to get overvalued as a pundit precisely because she's a woman"
