What he said was his opinion, I don't see anything wrong with anyone having an opinion, why would we want everyone to conform to a single viewpoint?

Firstly, the church was properly vilified by the media for covering up the rapes. No one suggested you were a racist for criticising, or tried to defend them by citing some other random group of rapists, or the "it's just a minority of priests" line.

Secondly, if you called the church "white rapist gangs" you would genuinely be racist, for suggesting their skin colour was a factor.

Similarly, the supposed racists / white supremacists are not blaming "brown people" or "immigrants" as they know non muslim immigrants are not involved, and indeed themselves victims such as the sikhs.

Ironically the real racists here are those on the other side who casually call them "Asian gangs" - inaccurate, unfair to hindu / sikh immigrants and also insinuating that their ethnic backgrounds are somehow to blame.

Yes to all of it - he is a fucking disgraceful person and a politician who has no moral compass. He is a product of his upbringing and treats politics and his supporters and colleagues with contempt. They are all stepping stones by which he can seek to further his own career. As such he makes the provocative statements not publicly on camera but by way of a newspaper column and then deny by way of " people close to him" - why? Because he won't own up to or stand by anything ............... he is a fucking shithouse. Whereas I am willing to stand by what I say !
