Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

He's a chaser of popular public opinion, in a very negative and also transparent way. This is another reason why I have no time for him.
He thinks he can manipulate everyone by his own "cleverness."
He can't. He's a transparent careerist who has never really got over his Bullingdon days.

Absolutely.

I used to like him I must admit, when we had the cloak of him being a more moderate Tory, being pro-EU and pushing for it to expand, or was that actually him?

I think even someone with relatively little political knowledge could tell he just molds himself to whatever he think will get him more power.

Who knows what he even thinks for sure though?

To hazard a guess I genuinely believe he thinks Brexit is a bad idea and he’d be pro-EU if he was just happy being an MP.

He’s seen it as an opportunity to get into Downing Street and is now pandering to the far right.

He’s a worm and manoeuvres like one.

Think he's seen Trump get to the top with this sort of stuff, I dont think , or hope, that doesnt work with our system. Not sure he could win a vote with his own MPs.
Relating to the thtread on Labour, it shows why party members should be kept from having too much power over the leader because with the labour system he'd be more likely to become leader over the heads of the MPs.

What am I missing? LBC are about to start a phone-in based on Boris Johnson challenging Theresa May

What am I missing? He doesn't have any credibility, he was Foreign Secretary and due to his lack of preparation helped the Iranian cased against a British citizen

all part of Team Johnson's desperate attempt to keep the bandwagon rolling - amidst reports that his lover has lost her job because of shagging him so she is already half way under a bus - they will use it to judge how popular he remains at large - my guess as more comes out and yet more follows he will be toast.
