Is he right? Technically speaking, yes. A man dressed up in a niqab robbed banks in Wythenshawe and Cheshire a few months ago and there have been lots of examples all over this country and other countries of it happening. But I imagine he was referring to the fact that most bank robbers wear clothing that, like the niqab and burkha, conceal the face.

What is political correctness? Saying a politician is wrong to say something because it’s insensitive even if he isn’t factually wrong. PC brigade is a term I use to describe people who use PC excessively to try and silence an opinion they don’t like. These are often far-right fascists who describe themselves as being on the left.

So your problem is that people are sensitive to insults and generalisations? That’s how racism starts. I very much doubt Johnson had any idea of if a bank robbery in Wythenshawe, if he did then I doubt he cared

His aim is to get this sort of speech out there and have any objections labelled as ‘PC gone mad’

I don’t think politicians should be labelling inocet women or men for that matter, depending on what they do or do not wear

If he dislikes something, that’s his problem. If he wants to highlight women’s rights and such then he is more than capable of making that point without labelling that is all designed to appeal to a certain type of person - the sort that potentially would vote for a Trump-like figure

I will raise you the bbc and sky.

bbc news are like a weather vane and blow in whatever direction the government is.

bbc light entertainment, and drama well if left wingers write better shows then they are gonna get made

But bbc political shows are dominated by right wing media people, the daily politics, this week are terrible slanted to the right atm and question time was found out for allowing tory councillors on the audience which is against the impartiality rule they have
Newsnight nor even worth try to pretend ins't anti labour atm.
Andrew Neil, Nick Robinson

Sky - Adam boulton, kay burley, I need not say more about their political leanings

ITV - Pestons neither here nor there

Ch4 - news I will give you is more left leaning

Ass for mainstreme printed press

Tory/right wing -
Times, express, telegraph, sun, mail, star

Labour/left wing
The mirror

Liberal Dem/centrist
Gaurdian

Can you also explain to everyone in what context Emily Thornberry used those words and use the full quote rather than trying to make someone out to be a racist?

I'll help you.

She was referring to people in a position of care, she also stated that people in care need intimacy and the burqa is to stop that.

Totally different quote to what you are making out.

Got your number!

The burqa comment was 5 years ago and as you say answered with more context and was made in answer on question time, bringing it back up now has no relevance and it is pretty pathetic whoever trawled through old Labour footage to find a counter ballance to johnsons remarks

Apparently the majority of Brits dont think what he said is racist.

Of course they don’t. Because they don’t want to be labelled ‘snowflakes’ or part of the PC brigade

Like I said earlier, this is all about normalising this sort of talk

Also it was a data poll, it doesn't reflect anything but the bubble of those that would lean to that news outlet an even bother to reply

But theyre happy to be labelled racists ?

Doesn't make sense.

But let’s say someone does call them racist, they would not acknowledge it as it came from a ‘snowflake’ or someone within the ‘liberal elite’
