Whatever the outcome of this third investigation into Starmer, it won’t end well for Johnson.

the thing that troubles me, and if it troubles me, it should trouble you too. A given. Is that although the Tories are over a desk, getting fucked with a small horse sized marrow, is all well and dandy, but, at the General Election, I think they will return to vote for Les Cunts. Although, Brexit, a tanking economy and Boris, are a heady mix of imminent disaster.

That is probably why he is still there, as there is no obvious replacement.Would guess either smarm offensive from Hunt or Tugendhat most likely but neither really inspires.

This is the best scenario.
They won the last GE on twin policies of ‘get brexit done’ and ‘levelling up‘ both of which are now exposed as dismal failures, but they were presented by a leader who - like it or not- has a certain presence and ‘charisma’. And for a lot of voters that was enough.
Unless they have a radical change of policy very soon, they are stuck with two flagship policy disasters and the likes of Truss or any of the other charisma free zones that has ideas of leadership to present them.
