In his head and his supporters today Boris fought a biased committee and won. He's a hero who's waiting for the local elections to damage Sunak and begin the climb back to his rightful place as leader of this great country. His hero Winston Churchill was PM twice. It's his duty to do the same.
He renounced his US citizenship to avoid double taxationNope.
He's going to run as Republican nominee for President in the USA using his American passport....
The cult of Johnson would be in a state of exultation, he is the Messiah, the golden haired warrior who makes their miserable lives a little bit more fun through his ridiculous antics. They ignore his narcissism because they see him as their guru, they ignore his lies because there lives are one big lie too. As people know I was in favour of Brexit, but his cult followers believed in his Brexit, they bought the bendy bananas, they bought the prawn crisp stories. He gave them a reason to believe in a country that was great, a re-imagined nirvana of a past that was long gone. They could accept the lies if the promise of renewal was the outcome, they could accept the attempts of destruction of democratic process because he promised them an England that had purpose.Leader of the Conservatives again by 2026 and prime minister again by 2030...
Yes it doesYou should all be hoping so. The US don't allow dual citizenship.
There are a lot of people like this….
It is hard to see the UK’s economic situation improving significantly between now and the next General Election, so the inevitable defeat for the Conservatives will then see Sunak under pressure to resign, presumably some time in 2025. Then, the next time the members have the chance to elect their leader, Johnson will be on the ballot and will win, handsomely. Irrespective of the Government between 2025-2030, it will be incredibly difficult for it to improve the country’s lot unless it seeks to realign with the EU, the spectre of which Johnson will exploit to galvanise English support ahead of his reelection in 2030. A leader who has cheated Death, survived a witch hunt, and bounced back from political exile should find it easy to convince the downtrodden masses that he can do the same for them. The cult of Johnson would be in a state of exultation, he is the Messiah, the golden haired warrior who makes their miserable lives a little bit more fun through his ridiculous antics. They will still defend him now, because in their eyes Johnson has become a quasi-religious figure and we who dare to say different are far left nut jobs who adore Stalin, we are woke globalists (whatever that means) but most of all we are envious of their messiah.
I hope for the good of this great country he is finished and never ever plays any part in politics ever again. The cult though is strong and it would not surprise me one bit to see him as PM again in 2030. After all its in his mind that it is his birthright.
Dacre will be dead by then and Johnson will be a an exiled tax evading recluse on a Caribbean island all paid for by Dacre and Co !It is hard to see the UK’s economic situation improving significantly between now and the next General Election, so the inevitable defeat for the Conservatives will then see Sunak under pressure to resign, presumably some time in 2025.
