Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

There wouldn't have been an election in December. We would be in the third year of a labour government. 2017 was sabotaged and the report proves it. Even then they only just stopped a corbyn led government.

Any evidence for that?

I see Labour losing to the worst election campaign from any Tory, ever.

You don’t like who but you know his name?

The Health Secretary, in the middle of a pandemic, you should know that?

I don’t know why Hancock getting Rashford’s name wrong is an issue at all, his campaign isn’t even Hancocks area and he doesn’t like football.
During an early briefing he demanded football players take pay cuts before even waiting to see what the players were going to do with their money and covid, also that would have led to less tax going to the government,he should stop talking about football

why? He is such a real fan Karen......he is looking forward to watching Harry Grealish score a century tonight in a thrilling 5 set victory over Sheffield Steelers.

He should.

Maybe, but Corbyn still couldn't beat a deeply unpopular May gov that ran the shittest campaign I've ever seen in my life. And as for moaning about sabotage etc etc, that's what politics is. If Corbyn's lot had stopped fucking moaning about everything they felt was unfair and got on with putting a credible plan together he might have had a chance.

Excuse me, I suggest you go onto the page before and read my comments.

I didn’t vote Tory and I don’t support Johnson.

The previous page to this one I’ve been pretty scathing of him.

I know there’s a group of you so indoctrinated you cannot give a view on someone other than in absolute positives or negatives, whether or not they’re in your political team, but don’t suggest I do the same.
I suggest that you may be guilty of demonstrating a level of open-mindedness, objectivity and balance at a time and in a place where, for some posters, only narrow-minded bigotry is sought or tolerated

There are a few of us on here that have tried to provide some balance - being called a "whimpering whimpering tory" can be considered to be 'getting off lightly'

The inconvenient truth being you’re about as balanced as my diet.

Just stop and think about it for a second.

A couple of pages earlier @Ban-jani had complained because the Tories had done a U turn and decided to grant over a million poor kids (from families that had already been assessed and accepted as needing support) a free hot school lunch...... we were then into the semantics of Rashfords tweet and whether he was telling lies about water supplies being switched off or not.

The true issue was that the Conservative Government had in fact voted to refuse to extend funding and deny over a million kids from poor and deprived backgrounds a free lunch in the middle of a pandemic. (Working out at a subsidy of £2.14 a day over a seven day week)

I would also remind you that Iain Duncan Smith once claimed back expenses of £39 for one single breakfast.

I appreciate that you’ve tagged me because once again you’re missing the point entirely.

Im not complaining at the free school meals to children as a policy, I support Rashford’s campaign, I’m complaining at the fact the government are governing based on public opinion and what a footballer says.

That’s a distinction from the policy itself.

They shouldn’t be u turning because people get their backs up, they should run the country to what they think is the best way to do so and should ignore external noise, otherwise you end up with a miss match of policies and you may as well have a direct democracy.

But yeah, another straw man of me wanting to not feed kids, push that if you wish but it isn’t true.

Dominic Cummings asked Boris Johnson to sign a contract giving him special powers in Downing Street, The Telegraph has learned.

Although employed under the lowly title of "assistant to the Prime Minister", Mr Cummings is understood to have a special agreement, believed to carry Mr Johnson’s signature, spelling out his authority over special advisers (SpAds).

It also confirms his jurisdiction over other government projects such as ARPA, the Tories’ pledge to recreate the United States’ Advanced Research Projects Agency in Britain.

Its a U turn a day now - just watch early doors for the distraction in the news then keep them peeled coz sneaked out later will be the U turn - he is in power but not in charge - his position now solely exists as a human shield to take all the incoming flak the party will take over this then be discarded. Already other ministers - seemingly unaware of how shit he has made them look - are eyeing his job and will have no compunction in stabbing him in the back and tossing the body in a water filled ditch by the side of the road - he must be aware of that?
