Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

You don’t like who but you know his name?

The Health Secretary, in the middle of a pandemic, you should know that?

I don’t know why Hancock getting Rashford’s name wrong is an issue at all, his campaign isn’t even Hancocks area and he doesn’t like football.

And a senior member of cabinet doesn't know the name of the person who caused his government to do a complete policy u-turn in 24 hours. Forgive me for expecting more of the health secretary. But it's fine. He doesn't like footy so who really cares!

Hancock is likely working round the clock and isn’t watching the news.

Free school dinners isn’t on his radar and he’s not sat in his PJ’s watching GMB like you and I.

For the record the government should have told Rashford to fuck off and made their own decision on it.

A footballer forcing a government u-turn is pathetic.

And I’m in favour of what he’s asked for.

I'd assume decades of everything being shit under a succession of right wing ones might increase the likelihood?

Events, dear boy, events.

2008, the Brexit stalemate, Covid-19.

These events have made things shit in my opinion. The budget in January was a cause for great optimism, deficit in a good place, unemployment lowest ever, money being reinvested and bang... pandemic.

If you are expect Rashford to get it right in regards water being turned off, you cannot then reasonably argue that it is ok for the HS to get his name wrong - he has literally changed government policy overnight, everyone in the country knows his name

Personally, I think it’s live tv and these things happen but you can’t say Rashford has to be ‘correct’ in a tweet but give a pass to Hancock. I think there is a contradiction there

Pleasing to see the fact that the fat lazy clueless **** is being outed by others too

But it doesn’t really make any difference. Once Brexit is ‘done’ and the party can put clear water between the actions of Johnson and themselves they will get rid. There is absolutely no chance he goes into the next GE as leader. None at all

Yes, I've long thought govts of all colours tend to have a bit less control on the economy than they would have us believe. In many ways just play the hand they are dealt by circumstances. I don't think the last labour govt was any more responsible for the financial good health of the nation at the end of the 90's than it was for the crash in 08. Just riding the crest of the waves.

One is getting someone’s name wrong, whilst praising him and one is making up inflammatory stories of children having no water in Britain in 2020.

I appreciate one is a Cabinet Member and one plays up front for the scum but the former is a basic human error of someone that hadn’t heard of Rashford until likely yesterday and one is a fabrication of reality to further his cause.

Every government in my life and my father’s life has had major major fuck ups, it’s worth noting and roughly 50% of the population who have really disliked them.
