A country’s sovereignty is legally over when they commit genocide against their own people or provide a safe haven to internationally wanted terrorists or invade neighbouring states or break the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

With Iraq it was and and and and several times.

The US senate passed the Iraq Liberation Treaty in 1998 and nobody said anything.

He did make a mistake, he lied but the difference here between the incredibly predictable and boring Blair/Iraq comparison (which happens to everything) is that there was good reason to believe Saddam was harbouring WMD’s as he had and used previously.

What good reason would that be then? Enlighten us?

The mistake was focusing too much on this by them.

And a total inability to understand that failing to deliver something does not mean you lied when you said you'd deliver it.

Saying you'll eliminate tuition fees (and believing that you would do so) but failing to do so, is NOT a lie. It may be a failing, but it is not a lie.

Saying we give the EU £350m a week when you know that to be untrue is a lie.
