Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

This is at the crux of it right now.
The government machine is spending more time managing the fallout and endless crises (that it has largely brought on itself) than it is governing the country.

Fucking scandalous that this should be allowed to go on.
This has now been the situation since November 2021, and it’s not the fault of the media nor the opposition parties for highlighting it. It’s been a government with a whopping mandate but no plan and no ability to govern, and the electorate are just as culpable.

He’s gonna hang on to the bitter end, because being in ‘a position of authority’ is all he has. He’s a shallow, talentless ****, with no actual skills. For sure, he’ll continue to make a cushy living, but it’s simply trading off his name and network. Deep down, he knows he’s a hollow man.
That said, he no different to any other Tory in that respect.

I get that, but he’s been sacked for lying as a journalist ffs. Twice. He’s behaving no differently today or this month than he’s behaved on almost any day or month in his life. They elected him leader, then people elected him and his government, whilst he behaved as he’s always done.
In some ways, he must be somewhat confused as to what’s happening, given every day is like yesterday for him.
He is a neo Marion Barry.

"It ended with committee chair Bernard Jenkin asking if Johnson would rule out the nuclear option of calling a snap general election. The Convict just couldn’t do it. There was always a yes, followed by a but. He’d rather tear down the government. Tear the Tories apart. Anything but relinquish power. His whole life had been geared to becoming prime minister. He’d hang on even it mean appointing Dilyn the Dog to the cabinet"

"Every nation gets the government it deserves"
Sadly I think this whole debacle will just further disillusion the electorate.
It's mad to think that the way the BoJo is going on even STARTS to make the shower that are the politicians over here look vaguely sensible.

Just watching the press reviews on sly tv they’ve put chalk n cheese in front of the camera… Andrew pierce associate editor of the Daily Mail is an absolute disgrace in revealing in all this m …talked about the charm and delight in how gove has been sacked thinks it’s superb he’s loving it then turns to look at the cat sitting on the door step at number 10.
The Fooking state of this circus , the whole shit bang of the British media needs dissolving along with the government and the constitutional way we vote with correct proportional representation. We’re on our knees and we still have this shit rolled out. We deserve better than this it’s not nearly good enough.

I can't believe BJ is still there. No shame, I think he'll probably call a snap GE rather than resign. Better than nothing, but the alternatives within and without his own party for PM are not much less depressing:-(

Braverman not resigning, but says he should go, and she'd be a candidate for leader!
