I have no problem with Ardern at all, I’d much rather her than Boris to be honest. She’s not done much to reverse child poverty though and has fallen short.I kind of agree but you know I have a lot of time for Jacinda and what she is trying to do re politics round wellbeing outputs rather than economic ones. Its difficult to know exactly when the data from that report is taken. It can be as far back as 2016 for the (for example) poverty information so lets see what happens in the next couple of years. I like OAC too and its hardly surprising that both of them get a good press. Both being young, open and refreshingly honest in their views. They have achieved a hell of a lot less than other world leaders like Merkel and the South Korean lady, but maybe their time will come.
AOC is overrated imo, I’ve seen her totally flop on being able to talk about specific ideology in politics, no attack on her age as she’s older than me, but she strikes me as a 6th former, with their heart in the right place, but no real understanding. Says the right things and has got support because of what she is rather than ability.
My fear is that the future of America will be Trump Jnr vs AOC in the battle for Instagram memes.
Another man who’s overrated but my God, what I would do for 8 years of Obama
