But you're acting like this has happened in a vacuum between two people we know nothing about. This man is a member of an explicitly racist government that has gone out of its way to court white nationalists, has banned people purely because of their country of origin, and has rounded up the children of immigrants and separated them from their parents. I don't think it's a massive stretch to suggest that someone who has supported such a government may have a problem with a young, Latino woman who is arguably more influential than he is in Congress. I actually don't think there's enough evidence to label this as racially motivated, but I also don't think it's completely beyond speculation, like you seem to.
And just for the record, the fact that he called her a 'bitch' isn't evidence that he's misogynistic. It's not reached the level of the N-word where by using it you're basically admitting to being a racist. Nor is anyone who calls a woman a name a misogynist. But if you verbally abuse someone because they're a woman, then I'd say you are. But it's actually more subtle than that. What you often see is people (on all sides) reacting to a woman they disagree with differently to a man they disagree with. Let's imagine exactly the same situation, but instead of AOC, he bumped into Bernie Sanders (who if it's just about opinions, is almost identical). Do we think Yoho would have even aggressively confronted him in the first place? I'm very doubtful that he would. It isn't a left/right thing. Women of all political persuasions are frequently subjected to very gendered abuse. And therefore I think AOC's response calling this out as a gendered attack is legitimate.
