Disappointed not to get him and we are definitely light on the forward front now.

Arsenal as a a club are in a complete mess and Sanchez is left completely in limbo.

Im not sure if we could have handled it differently as well......Im not sure of why we waited so late int he day to make our bids for him. (IM sure there is a reason but I don't know what it is) and doing it this way was always going to be risky and potentially lead to a situation like the one that has unfolded. We have had all summer to make our bids and get him...why not do it at the start of the window or even last week or two weeks ago? Arsenal would have had time to find a replacement and we would have the player we (and Pep) wanted. We clearly have the money to do it so why not just go for it?

Which ever way you try and paint this we have lost out on our top target and a player who would have really improved us. I hope we go back in January to get him (highly doubtful)....accroding the tot he ITKs we wont go back next summer even on a free......would Sanchez still want to come to us when he will literally be able to pick any club in the world and a few of them will offer far more wages than we will......
