Apparently Vidal could get to Chelsea, can that be a reason for Sanchez to arrive at Conte's team?

It's reported quite often in Chile around international tournaments that Vidal and Sanchez aren't friends. After they failed to qualify a lot of controversy was kicked up around there being parts of the dressing room lead by Vidal who spent as much time drinking and partying on an international trip than training or playing football.

Bravo and Sanchez apparently get on very well though.

If Vidal ever becomes available we simple must buy him.

That would be an awful signing.

He's 31 and clearly on his way down.

He wouldn't start for us.

He'd cost 60m.

He's known for being unprofessional and going out drinking a lot. A player who got drunk and crashed his Ferrari on a night out in the middle of an international tournament.

Hardly the great example we want around our young players or someone who'll buy into Pep's eat breathe sleep football philosophy.

Sorry folks, but apparently he is off to Liverpool for 40m according to the Gossip section of the BBC. We just cannot compete with their 'istree

I was against signing him in the summer, but now I think we need him.

He have the ability to replace any of the front 3 players.

What he's saying is that there is paper speculation that Chelsea are interested in signing Vidal. A footballing website has it that Conte would be interested in signing both Vidal and Sanchez.
The question he is posing is do people think this could realistically happen.
Hope this helps.

Well if Vidal was such a deciding factor in him joining a team wouldn't he have joined Bayern last year?
Just because they are from the same country doesn't make them best friends. From what I have read in papers I have understood he is better friends with Bravo...

Don' what he does outside of the game.
He's exactly what we are looking for.

OK, where will Vidal play? Because he certainly isn't getting in the starting XI, which means you're advocating spending 60m on a 31 year old back up who's already showing signs of declining.

Mate, I don't have an opinion on it. I was just clarifying what the OP was trying to ask and people were saying they couldn't understand what his he was trying to say, presumably because English isn't his first language.

when there's Weigl, Goretzka et al. as young, upcoming options, buying 31 year olds is a bit pointless imo.

Especially 31 year olds who are on the way down, unprofessional and cost 60m!

It wouldn't make any sense, and Pep's signings so far have all been young except Bravo who was replaced by a kid anyway.

We should do this now, as in sort the deal out after their game today, & insist it happens straight away, right now, if Arse want the money, or, if they fuck about, write it off until summer & get on with other business.

Don't let that stupid old ****, dick around getting him cup tied etc, just to show off with pointless childish posturing. Tell him to either shit, or get off the pot, now.

If he wants to explain losing even more money, to the Arsenal board, that's his problem. Don't get sucked into his senile fucking world.

And if Sanchez wants the move now, then he can fucking tell Wenger or he can fuck off as well.

yhp, fee on the table, paperwork through by tomorrow evening or it's off. Like it.

Saw that, Aldridge really is delusional. Firstly that he thinks Wenger will be any more likely to sell to Liverpool, who are, unlike us, their direct rivals for a top 4 spot this season and secondly that he thinks a 29 year old Sanchez will be willing to gamble that Klippety can win one of the big two titles in the 3 or so years he probably has left at the top level.

It wouldn't be a gamble though would it ?

Next year is their year.

If Pep really really wanted him in January, surely we'd have made our move by now. We've got tons of games coming up in 4 comps and Sanchez could well be cup tied (FA Cup) if we left it til later in the window. As soon as Jesus was injured, if Pep wanted Sanchez in January, the move should have been made. Maybe with Jesus out for 4-6 weeks, they think they can cope without Sanchez until the summer.

Who got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning but don't disagree with anything you say. Time to make a bid with 48 hours to accept or we move on.
