Took you a lot of words to agree with me:) Have another read of my postIt could be the other way around, if by January they are among the top 4 it could mean he is playing well to help the team and therefore they would like to keep him. While if they are not among the top 4 it could mean he is useless and not committed and therefore they may prefer to let him go to bring someone else who can help them to improve and challenge for a spot in the top 4. Therefore I do not think their position matters, what matters is the money and the availability of alternative.
