Alexis Sanchez

RVP was a success for 1 season and then nothing, Mbappe was going for astronomical amounts and seemed to only want Paris, Hazard, whilst superb has been a bit hit and miss and Sanchez is another going for crazy figures. You seriously think we should be matching his supposed wages from the rags?

If we want to beat them, yes. We have their level of financial power, do we not?

That's been the sticking point. United and Arsenal are arguing the toss over who pays what of it. That's before any signing-on fee he gets at Arsenal.

Mkhitryan will make more money in the immediacy than Sanchez!

And here's what really makes me question how much more I will continue to love the game.

Most agents are now asking for uplifts in contracts commensurate with whether the TV deal goes up.

Not down. Just up.

Insane. How much is going to be enough? Greed is at the back of all this.
And Mourinho orchestrating it

Thanks for your reply,Tolmie, and fair enough.

Just curious. Can you now explain yesterdays thunder video? This deal looks like it was dead days ago.

Is there any thunder out there or are we done this window?

Or was there still a feeling the deal might fall through as late as yesterday when you posted?

The thunder lyrics were simply about Sanchez thinking he was the big star and we were still waiting for a deal to be announced.

Looking at the figures, I'm surprised we didn't distance ourselves even more quickly than we did.

Still apart on the Jonny Evans interest.

They will never play football under Mourinho, he can't bring himself to do it and he knows they actually can't take teams on punch for punch anyway. It's all poised perfectly to go completely tits up for them with this contract extension about to be announced.

Well when I say 'play football' I mean bully the shite teams & spoil the better ones, to a level which gets them closer to the top.

They have to succeed sooner rather than later, with this outlay, or it will crash at a level they have never experienced.

The best outcome for us, is that it's Mourinho who they pick to see it through. It would require a complete change in personality, for that not to end with some kind of disaster.

Fuck me are you for real? Rags have done well, how? What was the next highest bid for him (to quote the dippers chairman), how much was anyone else offering? They've thrown a shitload of money for a player in a position they have plenty of options for, he'll stiffle Rashford. Lingard or Martial and cause them untold problems when players contracts are up for renewal, see De Gea asking for similar now and then everyone else will follow. Woodward and Mourinho have just fucked up the club for the foreseeable imo.

HAHAHA

Blue tinted specs on this.

Utd are a mish mash of a team, but they have shit loads of money and they can afford it.

It's obvious to everyone, there is one thing that swayed him towards Man U, and it's simply money. We said 'go whistle' upon increased demands, pulled out, cos we don't want that type of player anymore, someone looking purely for their last payday. It's really quite delusional to think that his heart was with Man U. Will he improve them? Hmmm, maybe? He won't add anything new in terms of tactics. Just an upgrade on lingard I'm thinking ( I'm open to discussion if I'm missing something there). They won't win the league. And they still won't beat us. They're football will still be inferior compared to ours. Now what we do actually need is someone to share ferns role. If he gets injured, who can replace him? Yaya's best days are behind him. Sanchez would have been a pleasent but not ESSENTIAL addition. A DM to share ferns role, and another CB to me is of the essential type if we want to really have a good shot across the 4 competitions.
