Alexis Sanchez

Is there anyone out there who is that good though? And we already have lots of inconsistent potential, if Kun goes or gets injured or loses form we actually need to mix this potential with a proven regular goalscorer.

I don't think Kane or Hazard would be a risk as they're proven over seasons in this league. It's more of a risk bringing in a player from abroad for big money though.

Vardy ;)

They can't sign every player that comes along. They've taken a gamble that may come off or it may drive them further into the shit.
Would any of us really have been happy for us to spunk that kind of money on Sanchez and stunt our development and progress in the transfer market, I wouldn't.
I think some of us are smarting over the fact that they've beaten us to him rather than the fact of us missing out.
We have a great team, and a great management, and we will continue to strengthen, challenge for and win trophies for the foreseeable future. When the fog clears we will all see the real picture and feel better for it.

I just don't see United in a positive light, they play dull defensive football and they are paying massive inflationary wages for him that will drive up players' wages world wide. I dislike them more than any other club.

However Sanchez has not suddenly become an old, incompetent player because he's not joined us. I want us City fans to be honest and truthful about football, not deluded like many of their fans. To me it's a blow he's joined them and I don't mind admitting it. He wanted us, Pep wanted him.

I believe we could have got him without the massive wages if we had gone for him this window, instead of trying to put him off until summer.

I assume it's because we have limited squad places and consider other positions more important, but I am still disappointed not getting him.

Well in some world, perhaps Arsenal would sell a player to us, without inviting bids from other clubs.

In the real one however, it would make no sense.

As the agent involved in the deal has told you, that this was worked out before the transfer window opened, then you have the choice of believing the worst about City, or accepting that perhaps Utd have spunked a fair bit of next years budget, on a 29 year old who hasn't been playing particularly well.

Or you can choose to admire them & assume City fucked up, Sanchez agent was just taking the piss out of Mino & Utd with no intetion of seeing it through, when really his client was just waiting for City, & it's all Txiki's fault, instead.

Why does it bother you? Unless you're paying for him.
All I want to see is a dominant and succesful City. Whatever the cost.

That's not what the board want , the manager wants and the true supporter wants Riot because often your username comes into play and we have seen it at our club in recent times in the past on occasion.

We have been , we are and will be successful in the future if we stick to our goals and principles.

I remember the oldest and most successful football club in the now AFL doing on a small scale what Manure are doing now and paying for it for years to come.

2 flags as we call them here in the past 60 years.

On the plus side of this deal, if it is a 4.5 deal as suggested they will be paying him this ridiculous wage when he is virtually 34 years old.

Another positive is that to play him i would suggest Martial and Rashford are going to be the ones to suffer,

Who is going to play on the right wing?
They have Martial, Rashford, Young and now Sanchez all vying foe the left wing slot and no fucker on the right:)
Cheeky bid for Martial?

Money doesn't usually bother me, but this deal is just mind-boggling. Sanchez is a great player and is probably a good buy for them short term. Football is in the end entertainment for me, and City is providing us with the sort of football we want to see. Hopefully ending the season with a couple of trophies to boot and getting even better players in the summer, whatever the cost ;)

I do not know how reliable the International Business Times is but they have just reported that Arsenal want 10 million plus Mikey Tarian as basically they are the same age but Mikey is not as good. Seems fair to me and it means that despite what you read, this has someway to go yet.

Think the MUEN would know more myself about the deal...
Check out the Merc wages lol
