I hope he does, but let's face it full backs are the priority given the only one we have is the defensive blunder that is kolarov. Kolarov the career full back who we now find out is a marginally better cb.

There is no reason for Arsenal to offer him 400k a week, it makes no sense whatsoever.
Keep him on 130k a week, save 15m on wages alone next season, let him go for free next summer when hes 29 and no longer worth 400k.
The best outcome commercially and footballing wise from an Arsenal point of view is to keep him this season and let him go next summer.That way we would get his last peak year playing for us and wont have to stump up 400k a week for it.
