has anyone thought what the potential impact of Lukaku going to Utd might be for Chelsea?
Costa really has to go after the Summer fall out. So if Chelsea let the replacement in waiting go to Utd, who is available? >>>>> Alexis
I bet someone in the media will spin it that way even if it's not true so expect to see some sanchez to Chelsea stories soon.
Allowing the contracts of your better players to run down on a regular basis should piss you Gooners off, but no lessons appear to have been learned by your management. Or do you not get that ?
Next year is the world cup, so in all honesty I can't really see Sanchez sulk all season in the reserves. I reckon he will get on with it also if he stays with Arsenal. However I do think he would then leave on a free after next season. At 29 there will be plenty of takers I am sure. So I think the situation is that the choice Arsenal has is whether he will leave for (a lot of) money now or for nothing next year. If you think it worth 50 million plus his normal wages to have him for 1 year, fair enough mate. I would not have him for 1 year at City at that price.Yes. I'd prefer he sulk (if that's what he wants to do) in the reserves than sell him to any of the top 6 in the PL.
Sell him to Bayern or any other foreign team but not a PL one.
Would he go to Everton though? I doubt it. Moshiri will know all the ins and outs though with his Arsenal connections. I guess it would sort out the wage cap issue, but Giroud is a significant player for you. I wouldn't want to lose him if I were you as you can rely on himId sell Giroud for sure, when he plays we revert to launching crosses into the box, ruins our game.
I dont think there is much in this wages FFP thing but if there is then selling Giroud for 20m and getting rid of his wages should be enough.

Thanks for your comments. This saga is going to run and run. Just think if it works out the way you want it (he stays for a final 12 months), you'll have this for another 9 months. We'll probably become immune to it soon enough.
As a 'deluded' Arsenal fan,I recognise we may lose Sanchez however I can not believe he would be sold to City. After the Van Persie to Man Utd debacle, the idea we would repeat the same mistake beggars belief. If it was down to me, I'd force him to play out his final year knowing that he may not be as attractive this time next year and if we are successful he might feel inclined to stay anyway. But a move to a PL rival, no way...that would really piss us Gooners off.
How friggin naive are you mateHe can say he wants to leave. If hes asked us for 400k, and Bayern for 400k, maybe he actually wants 400k, because he knows he can get it if he was a free agent without a fee.
You're totally correct with what you've posted, I would also add his loyalty bonus for completing his full contract if he stays, how much is that? A few million probably. It all adds up to a lot of money to miss out on.Next year is the world cup, so in all honesty I can't really see Sanchez sulk all season in the reserves. Can't get on board with this mindset. There's no way on earth anyone within the club, including fans, want him to run his contract down and leave on a free, most probably to City.
The sheer thought of selling him for £50m to City or him going on a free to City a year later, and Arsenal fans being ok with that, is incredibly bitter.
If he only wants to go to City, it's a no brainer for you, get rid and reinvest. It's too much of a likely risk that he'd end up here anyway, for nothing, and whatever he costs you in wages between now and then.
FFS Sanchez only had 1 year left on his deal we won't pay more than 50million don't worry.i think its bad news today that lukaku is going for £75 million arsenal will know the score and if everton are getting that for him then wenger will slap another £20million on Sanchez asking price if the market is that daft and united are will to pay that sort of fee then the rest are going to be greedy and think there striker is better
city please don't over pay for Sanchez look for somebody else and never sell aguero for under £150million if everton can get that sort of fee for a donkey with a eye for goal

United are in a desperate situation and will be forced to pay way over the odds to get any decent players , thanks to the toxic influence of Mourinho . City on the otherhand have different options imo.
