Alexis Sanchez

Thought Sanchez was a done deal and Mbappe had agreed personal terms.

Oh well summer's almost gone.

I really don't think he's going to force it. He looked quite happy in training today. I think he's just accepted it and is moving on to the new season.

This entirely. He would've put in a transfer request/skipped training by now if he wanted to push for a move. He knows he can get a move next summer no matter what happens as he has a year left.

Arsenal are in a good position with him now really. Guaranteed a year of world class footballer and now have 4/5 months to try and sign him up. If they hit a purple patch in the first months of the season its likely he'll sign. Not only that but the huge wage they offered him (300k a week) will now be able to be used on a new player if they want to go in for someone else.

Bastards.

Neymar looked happy in training on Monday.

He's supposedly obsessed with winning trophies, so I wonder what a defeat on Sunday would do to remind him of what his prospects are on that front if he stays.
Won't find out, it's at Wembley, we'll win.

This deal has been dead for a month, if you look at actual events, not what people want to happen.

If Wenger changed his mind and sold him to you, would he still be shit?

You may have said previously why you don't fancy it, but I've probably missed it. Why don't you fancy the deal?

I just prefer to build for the future rather than buy a player in his last few years.

I'm sure he'd be a big asset to the squad (well I'm sure he would if he continues to produce his Arsenal form) but with 2 great strikers, 2 great young wide players who can play centrally, 3 fantastic attacking mids who can all play in the front 3 & several exciting young attackers, I would prefer to watch combinations of them rather than watch Sanchez tbh.

Every time he plays, one of them doesn't.

Keeping Sanchez is a huge gamble for Arsenal and I'm interested in seeing how it is going to play out.

Realistically, anything less than a major title challenge could see Sanchez and Ozil leave on a free next summer.

There's a realistic chance that they could start next season in the CL with a much weaker squad than now.

I want him to sign a contract, which wont happen. It doesnt matter what I want , only what will happen, he will stay this season.
Doesn't matter how many times you say it either. We won't know until the window closes. Don't know how you can say the deal has been dead for a month though unless you're privy to the inner workings of your club.

Would you keep Roberts around?
