It isn't a coincidence that psg are trying to sign/signed 3 of our targets this definitely has something to do with politics.
Possibly but it is just as likely they are simply the big names who are attainable. We fish in the same water as them so this stuff will happen a lot for the foreseeable future imo.It isn't a coincidence that psg are trying to sign/signed 3 of our targets this definitely has something to do with politics.
We need to put something on our hook for these bigger catches. Probably more cash.Possibly but it is just as likely they are simply the big names who are attainable. We fish in the same water as them so this stuff will happen a lot for the foreseeable future imo.
Interesting
Especially as we were reliably informed Sanchez was our number 1 summer target.
Who told you this? Pep? Sanchez? Because if it wasn't one of them or a member of City's player buying team then nothing is reliable in football transfers. look at Alves. Nailed on coming to us. Apparently.
We do try to do the right thing. A multitude of vested interests trying to fuck us over (as above) probably has something to do with that.Doing the right thing-------
Failing ffp
Getting a fine for cocking up drug processes
A ban on signing academy players
Being investigated for illegal signing of overseas academy player
MCFC doing it right
what would we do if we did and Arse simply said he is not for sale? Can someone tell me why we haven't made a bid
who have they signed that was a genuine target of ours?It isn't a coincidence that psg are trying to sign/signed 3 of our targets this definitely has something to do with politics.

Fair Cop - and the other two?Alves

Correct
This,it has been explained to the poster before by several peopleThose saying why have we not made a bid? Think about it.
If we bid £60 million whilst Wenger is saying he is not for sale, what happens?
He says the same thing but is able to say 'we turned down £60 million we are NOT selling.'
He certainly is not going to say yes just because we made a bid.
City then have to bid more or walk away. So bidding was pointless.
If we feel that Arsenal are bluffing we have no advantage bidding now as unless something else comes off more attractive than Sanchez we get the best deal by calling the bluff as long as possible.
It then either happens or doesn't but we do not look desperate just offering more and more money.
