For the sake of losing Blue Moon to the Arsenal fans, also for those who have an urgent need to look for anything Sanchez related the minute the laptop opens ( it used to be porn) please can we get this one sorted one way or another i would say its becoming a pain in the arse, but at least the flex in my wrist has strangely improved

I think there's a few updates on 'up the Arse' but that might not be good for your wrist!

What were Leicester quoting Marhez's price at to Roma? If they sold Alexis to us and brought in Draxler and Mahrez that wouldn't be too terrible as far as their fans are concerned. I really think PSG putting Draxler up for sale could be great news for us. Them helping us out in this window would be quite ironic.

I wonder whether Draxler will go back to Germany

No.

Dear God! Arrrgh.

The umour/headlines are £50mill

The latest headline is that we have offered £45mill.

What I am saying is that City should go up to £60mill to secure Sanchez, regardless if they get to that figure or not.

For the sake of an extra £10mill Arsenal might bite, regardless of how the payments are structured.

An extra £10mill spread over a 5 year contract is peanuts to City.

If we eventually get him, and get him for less than £60mill, great. But if it takes that much, we should pay it.

Thst's all.

I can't be the Minister of mis-information.

"Jonny Evans is joining Manchester City for £20mill."

"Alex Sanchez is joining Manchester City for £60mill."

"JRB is not me."

He's been dead for years.

But then again, if people read my posts properly, I wouldn't have to repeat myself.

If it get's to that point, £60mill would be worth paying.

If it doesn't get that high, even better.

If it doesn't happen at all, lock the f***ing thread!
:-)

Arsenal on August 27 plays against Liverpool, Sanchez plays for Chile on August 31. Next week there should be some interesting news.

If true?

From inside Football

Sanchez’s agent was quoted as saying by French outlet Foot Mercato: “Manchester City’s last offer was €50m(£45mill), but Arsenal rejected it.

“The club are preparing a new offer to see if they can convince the Arsenal hierarchy [to sell the player].”

He also insisted that interest from Paris Saint-Germain is pure speculation and only Manchester City have made a concrete effort to sign the Chilean this summer.

“All that has been said about Paris Saint-Germain is just speculation, because there is nothing real.

“The only concrete offer that exists for Alexis is that from Manchester City.”

Milner and Ireland, Luiz and Matic, Zlatan and Eto'o are the only ones I recall off the top of my head.

Forgot about those, but still very rare I would say. We see swap deal mentioned every summer yet I can't recall any in the last 2-3 windows.

Sanchez has been called up for the national team despite being "injured", I am sure even Pizzi knows this is all a farce.

sounds promising chaps? looks like without putting a transfer request in his agent is trying to now force the issue with talking about alexis leaving?

I may be totally off piste but I think we have played this well by letting the press start to print that Sanchez could leave on a free next season before we dropped our bid on the table. This way, we have press coverage should Arse start to reject decent bids. Subtle pressure

If he's sold or isn't, it should be done weeks ago, not now.

Well we've done the not selling weeks ago, so we've passed 50%! :-)

Anyway, how do you sell if there was no bid until recently?

Well he's started training with the group & should be back for the Liverpool game according to Wenger, so there's no reason why he shouldnt be called up if its after that.

So what you're saying is that the reason we have 250 pages of wailing and gnashing of teeth on the Evans thread is because a lot of people know they are going to end up having to eat their own shit.

actually, when you add up all the other completely unrelated thread pages full of Jonny talk, it comes to about 300,000 pages so far!!! not bad for 36 hours!!
