If you put sanchez in our team ahead of any of our current attackers, we will score more goals and create more chances. I think you're slightly under rating Sanchez.

Last season, Sanchez had his best season by far, scoring 24 in the league, 8 more than previously. Sergio has a poor season, missing 7 (I think) games through suspension and not being picked by Pep for others. And he still managed 20.

I think you're getting a bit carried away with how good Sanchez is. Sergio was until a poor season last year, regarded arguably the best out-and-out striker in the world. A toss up between him and Jaws.

Does that look like a the face of a man who isn't going to get what he wants?

What time is the yellow tie parading uber ****, jim white due on sly?
Every part of this 'saga' feels unequivocally scripted to maximise skys bullshit deadline day wankfest.
That jock prick being the chief **** of the false flag flying Murdock mercenaries!

He played with Ramsey, Walcott and Welbeck ... and scored many goals ... imagine him with class players.

Against the parked buses we face week in week out. Yes, I can imagine him struggling like all our top class existing players do.

Does anyone think that Arsenal would turn down a cash only bid of 150 mil for Sanchez ?

If the answer in 'no' then please SHUT UP.

It's down to whether or not a fee has been or will be agreed which suits both parties. Nothing else.

If it's agreed, he comes, if not he doesn't.

Fuck all to do with anything else.

that could have saved 2000 pages had it been posted day 1 :(

I've been hoping Arsenal would go in for Barkley, I feel they could penny pinch with him being injured and last year of his contract.

The hysterics when the bang average Ox announced he'd signed for the Dippers a couple of minutes ago turned the mild sour in my brew. For god sake.

It's all posturing, Arsenal will want to look as if they've got a good deal for a player who doesn't want to play for them anymore and is causing disruption in the dressing room.
The last thing Arsenal are going to do is make a statement saying they're a selling club, willingly.
They thought they could change Sanchez's mind, he's adamant and determined to leave, so here we are, deadline day... let the fun commence

That's not what I said. I'm saying he won't 'look' as good playing for us as he does for Arsenal. Probably won't be on the ball as much and although he'll play an awful lot, he won't play as much as at Arsenal. That's not to say he won't be a valuable member of a great team but he will have to be more disciplined, re system than at Arsenal.

he could look better by receiving the ball in better positions, not being under so much pressure because of this, ........have you ever players with players that are significantly better than you in a game....i have and my ability was hugely increased (not hard admittedly!)

I see that useless **** parked at the Emirates has now changed his tune from Arsenal won't accept a cash only offer from City, to Arsenal won't accept cash unless they can find a replacement.

How can he have got that simple detail wrong ?

Perhaps the tea lady was chewing a sandwich when she told him.

They are supposedly upto/over their FFP wage limit.
But with Ox and Sanchez very likely to go they knew those wages were off the books and then they knew how much they could add. So if they signed a couple of players before selling Ox and Sanchez from a wages perspective they would be fine.

Then might have got less for Ox and Sanchez but not if they organized this properly with the buying clubs well in advance of the last day.

I wonder if they had plans to bring in a few players a few days ago. And then it fell apart for them so now they are scrambling (like us after Alves). I wonder if it had anything to do with their shambles at Liverpool. :-)

Bloody annoying that the Chavs are getting Mahrez for only £45 million. In my humble opinion, Wenger won't sell Sanchez for less than £80 million, which is frankly too much to pay on top of his huge wage demand.

Sanchez is more than twice the player Mahrez is, so it's not that annoying at all.
