I'm devestated.
We'll just have to scrape by with aguero Jesus raz Dave Bernardo Leroy and Kevin.

Just hope we stay up.

Whilst I agree only one has shown they can score 20 plus a season. The rest rarely or have not yet got into double figures.

In 3 games we have shown once again we miss more than we score. They need to get better as a group.

Clearly we're exceptionally strong with what we've got I think the disappointment stems from the fact that with Sanchez and much weaker Barca that I felt we could have had a serious tilt at the champs league this season with enough depth in the squad to sustain it. As it is and without the additional goals that Sanchez would have brought that might prove too big a challenge.

Can see Wenger out before January and a new manager may convince Sanchez to stay

Either way we need to look at alternatives for January which is going to be very hard

Piss poor by Arsenal this but if they convince Sanchez to extend with a new manager they will have succeeded.

Either way we have had a very good window and Arsenal look totally fucked

Would have loved it if Sanchez had signed for us as he'd have added goals to a side that doesn't score anywhere near as many it should.

I think we'll go back in for him in January. Whether or not Arsenal will sell is another matter, but they need to find a way to get Sanchez motivated again for the coming months. A gentleman's agreement that he can go in the next window if he gives his all would go some way to ensuring that.

Big Season for our Younger players and a chance to step up and Shine.

Sterling Started Well - Sane showed last year what he can do - he just needs to be further up the pitch to do it (Pay attention Pep)

B. Silva im excited about too. Mendy against Bournmouth showed how important he is going to be up and down the wing and creating chances. Ederson's distribution is ridiculous - I'm saying at least 2 /3 assist this year. An opportunity for Brahim / Foden to get some game time in cups and show they can step up in the next year or so.

The future is bright and we've had a fantastic window addressing major weakness in our squad bringing in experience in Walker and Danilo also.

Sanchez would have been nice - but if this team can grow together - it will be something special.

Come on Bill, all joking aside finishing is clearly an issue for us, which is why Pep was so hell bent on securing Sanchez. Both Kun (despite his overall tally) and Jesus are profligate in the extreme at times, and of the attacking midfielders Sterling has no composure whatsoever when presented with time to think, and Spanish Dave, KDB and Leroy aren't exactly prolific either. Going into a 55 game season in this league, particularly given that we will be up against 55 gigantic parked buses, is a recipe for winning feck all

Think it's a bit early to say Jesus is profligate in the extreme. Thought his goal to chances ratio was very decent in the few games he played for us last season and I haven't seen him miss a huge amount so far this season. Should have done better with a header at Brighton certainly. If Pep can't get players of the calibre we have to take easy chances then there's something wrong IMO. I don't think it is a coincidence that we miss so many chances and personally I don't think it is due to any lack of quality of our players so who is to say that Sanchez wouldn't have gone the same way and started missing chances if he had joined us?

Better brace ourselves for some Giddy gooners today!
I expect giddy is the last thing they will be feeling tbh. They are left with a very unhappy player, a very unhappy dressing room and are letting a 100m player walk away for nothing, along with Ozil presumably. All because they fucked about trying to prove a point for most of the summer rather than doing the sane thing and selling him and using the money to help strengthen key areas. I honestly think they're out of the top four for a few years now and they deserve it.
