The sort of blue who has an opinion but gets pissed off by the pack of dogs who can't accept that. I never said I would enjoy saying I told you so but it is tempting to when people have been such dicks over it beforehand.

Like i've said, why are you never involved in positive discussion on here?

Pre and post match threads?

Your thoughts on us being 15 points clear? Unbeaten? Breaking records left, right and centre?

Lost of posters are negative at times but they balance it out in the main by also seemingly enjoying our football, club, manager and players and saying so far more.

You should have a think about that and maybe give it a go and then most wont jump all over the negative when you want to express it?

where were you when we have been breaking every record going? feck off as they say on your true home

If he does sign for United, we can dress it up all we like by saying, too old, too expensive, no ambition etc but the fact is, Pep wanted him, he'd improve our squad, he's premiership proven and we need someone up front.
This is possibly the second time in 8 months that we seem to have relied on the fact that they have wanted to play for Pep but gone elsewhere
Careful

I'm totally happy if we've offered as much as we think Sanchez is worth and he chooses to go elsewhere, even if it's Utd. £35m is not "still great value" if we end up paying him £400,000pw. The actual value of the transfer is far higher if we suddenly have De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, Jesus, etc. all believing they should all be on comparable wages, not to mention any future signings we make.

Sanchez is 29 and will only decline in form and value if he did join us. I'd love to sign him this window, but if we're convinced it's a bad deal then i'm perfectly happy for Utd to take him.

Sure, we may end up paying £80m-£120m for an alternative in the summer. If that player is on half the wages, is in his early 20's and grows with the team in the way that De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, etc. all have then that's a way better deal than this one for Sanchez looks.

Alexis Sanchez will give us options, and will likely be the talisman for the rags if he goes there. But lets be realistic. He’s already the star player in Arsenal who currently sits at 6th place in the league that is 2/3rds on. He’s scored 7 assisted 3, not really phenomenal this season. Granted the arsenal team has its weaknesses, but so has the rags.

If sanchez comes to us I believe he will improve. If he goes to the rags and their negative football I can see him carrying his arsenal form there.

Im still sat here thinking there is no way a fee and personal trms have been agreed with the rags without this being all over the news and official given we play later today, no way.
