All Star Premier League Game

There's literally zero reason for anyone to think Todd Boehly is a "dud" 3 months into his ownership, it really is amazing how effectively the media have managed hook people to their line.
He’s blown loads of money in ridiculous fashion this summer in an era where you have to keep your books clean.
Long term he will only be interested in making money.

When you say "blown loads of money in ridiculous fashion", what do you mean?

In my opinion they have paid well over the odds for players who are not top level no better than what they already had. It’s a waste. If we signed those players we wouldn’t be happy

We would not be happy with Cucurella, our obvious number one transfer target this summer; Sterling, who has played more football for us than anyone else over the last 6 years and who was offered multiple new contracts to stay; Koulibaly, a player we chased for several years; and Fofana, one of the best CB's in the league?

Not that "City wouldn't be happy with those transfers" makes any sense as a way of judging transfers, but in this case the simple answer is we would.

No we wouldn’t.
Sterling has given us his best years and we moved on.
Cucu was available for less than Chelsea paid. We didn’t even want him for the £50m they would accept.
We would have had koulibaly 3 years ago not now with no sell on value.
Might not make sense to you.

Next accounts Chelsea will have losses of 200m and history under last owner is he pumped in a lot of money and you can see that in the debt of over 1b he left..

let’s see if Todd has a plan to eventually break even make the club still successful? This isn’t an American sport with closed shops!

Part of the takeover agreement stipulated he has to invest £1.75Bn into the club over the next 10 years on top of the £2.5Bn he spent on it.

That was in return for Abramovic waiving the nearly 1Bn he was owed (he wasn't getting the money anyway) so they are going to spend big for several seasons. When Potter took the job it was reported that he's getting another £200m to spend next summer.

@Vialli98 can confirm that, but I think that's right.

I know what your saying about the narrative being fed by the media but there’s no evidence that he isn’t the stereotypical US barmpot. Sacking Tuchel & signings have looked scattergun whilst giving the media sound bites won’t help.
