All Time Top 1100 Albums (Aerosmith - Big Ones) P265

Between the two threads, we’ve had an awful lot of records with songs lasting well over ten minutes, and in each of the last three, entire sides of records. I’m looking forward to hearing some albums where the songs are 2-5 minutes long like they’re supposed to be.

Says the guy who writes reviews it takes 10+ minutes to read :)

Yep. I do like the odd 6-, 7- or at a push 8-minute tracks with an instrumental jam in there, but I can't think of one that's longer than that that I truly love.

Quite an interesting band. I've listened to some of the tracks on their other albums and they could put together one really good compilation. Not sure on the lead vocalist, he sounds a bit like Roy Wood to me and I never liked his voice much.

This album, I'll say 5 / 10.

Yes. I definitely agree with that.

The international rules of albums should be:-
1. Overall length less than one hour
2. No track longer than 10 minutes.
3. No more than two tracks longer than 6 minutes.
4. Average track length less than 5 minutes.
5. Nothing by Thom Yorke must appear.

No it's a remix of Blur's Song 2 called Song 8:31.

This album may have just made its way closer being reviewed by the Album club for its annual caning............ :-)
