Almost Fell Asleep.

It's all about points in the league now, losing 4-3 breathtakers is absolutely no use at all.
You keep doing what you're doing City, if we lose a few cable viewers and Newmooners along the way we'll live with it.

They can always turn off the TV and go and do something less boring instead.
Why don't you........

Yes it is.

His username in VinceYoungisaBLUE, so naturally not knowing who or what Vince Young is, googled him to find out he's an American Football quarterback so that's what it has to do with it.

Is that ok precious?
I know who the fuck it is. I happen to be American. When that shithole non-sport cricket goes away, maybe you'll have a point.

Haha! Brilliant!!

There's the Cricket World Cup on at the moment. When an American Football World Cup occurs you may have a point sunshine.

I seem to recall the U.S. in the football World Cup this past year in South Africa. I think we even played England. ;)

Don't need a World Cup for American Football. It isn't popular enough around the world. Doesn't make it a bad sport. Seriously, though, his comments were silly enough to go after in multiple ways. No need to drag an entire nationality into it.

My mate once fell asleep next to me on the Kippax [standing days]. It was New Year's Day and we were playing Reading at home in round three, as I recall. He saw us score then sat down for a nap. He awoke to the half-time booing. He said 'It's not going well then?' I said, 'It's worse than that, Reading have just scored'. Another Sad But True episode from this life as a City Fan...

Not having a world cup doesn't make it a bad sport, it's a bad sport regardless of how many countries play it. Rugby is a million times the sport of Gridiron (it doesn't deserve to be called football!). And don't diss cricket, it's better than baseball. "World series" played by teams from North America only!?

I didn't mate.

It's called American Football.

I had a go at the sport not the nation.

Baseball is cricket for idiots, played by countries deluged with US Sports Channels and nations that are 'blessed' with large US Military bases. Nobody else gives a shit, unlike cricket which is played and watched by half of humanity.

It's like saying that, once China becomes the number one superpower, Ping Pong should receive 'World Series' status.

Yesterday was truly shocking at times and it was indeed very very dull to watch.
BUT i'm not going to launch into a Mancini rant. I am going to wait, put the performance in some context at the end of the season and hope it was not a sign of things to come with the season fizzling out. Maybe it will be looked back on as a bad off day before we picked up and put some better performances against far better opposition to clinch 3rd, becuasue we will need to big time.

Anyone else feel like we are one of the most boring teams? Jesus I have never before almost fell asleep watching City before but when we have 3 defensive midfielders in the game and sit on one point leads its hard to watch. I miss exciting fun football. Not this drab Italian style football where you try not to lose more than you do to win. Anyone else feel the same?

3 defensive midfield players?

My apologies then. It felt like the old "Stupid Americans" thing.
