Altercation at Terminal 2

Do people seriously thinks those that were outraged by the boot and stamp on the head didn’t realise there was a fight with the police moments before?

This footage didn’t change much for me, it was as expected- they’re scum and deserve jail.

That doesn’t justify the boot and stamp the police guy did when he was on the ground, facing down. IMO.

Crazy stuff. Police Officer no doubt angry, but don't kick the guy ffs when he's on the floor and then the stamp. As far as I can tell the Police not in the wrong until that moment. When emotions run high we do stupid stuff, but the police need to rise above it.
and what if the guy managed to get up and started fighting again. What would you do then

Police or not, I despise people who kick or punch others when they're down, but nobody can tell me after seeing the full thing they didn't deserve it and more. They'd be instantly shot dead if that happens in america.

If they're willing to be that violent towards armed police officers in an airport, can you imagine what they'd be willing to do to civilians in a more secluded area? Scum that deserve to see a very lengthy jail term.

At the beginning of the video when the guy is at the machine, the police officer comes and shoves his head into the machine twice without speaking with him or addressing him which starts the whole thing?

Yep straight from the start it stated three cops had been injured
and although there was the odd comment about the broken nose being accidental, I think most people believed that the guy kicked in the head had been involved. I notice certain posters can’t wait to jump back in thinking they were right all along and loving how quiet people are. Truth is most probably can’t be arsed arguing

There will be more to come. GMP appealing for witnesses to 3 incidents. Whole altercation out in public domain back to front for some reason.

I do, yes.

Not all, but most. They loosely knew from the statement there was an altercation, but the severity and extent, and the pace things moved at, they couldn't possibly have known. And the comments were put forward that way.

I stayed out of it the first thread, posted two comments then deleted them as the thread was already on a tightrope.

But this completely changes things now. He was not subdued, he Was a threat, and it was a split second action in an ongoing attempt to get control of the situation. He is clearly a violent and dangerous individual and even after that kick he still tries to get up for more and it takes two officers to keep him down.

The context for the investigation is very different now, and the police officer does not look like he has lost it any more than he now looks like he avoided a fatal shooting, which btw is at his disposal in such situations, which this could have resulted in.

Edit. Just to be clear, I fully agree with the principle that it is not up to police officers to dish out retribution or retaliate and get one back on an attacker. But this latest bit of context imo now changes whether the above is the case, at the very least heavily blurs it.
