think he's purely been tapped up by Madrid, its them or bust regardless of other teams/bids imoAfter them getting our assistant manager then buying Gabby and Zin, I can’t imagine a club we are less likely to sell to in the foreseeable.
They can always call on Walker if needed...Wags aren't keen on manchester due to the weather And a lot of players like to keep their women happy.
Yes of course, the other thing though is language, and culture. Don’t know what Alvaresz ‘s English is like don’t think I’ve heard him speak. Some players find that harder than others to adapt to as well.Players and their wife’s/girflfriends don’t come to Manchester for the weather and the sun. They know the weather is bad in Manchester compared to Spain, Italy, South America, etc..
What I will say is, the players only realise how grey and wet Manchester is for most of the year when they move ‘t think Ive heard him speakto Manchester. They aren’t prepared for that.
This last week has been perfect weather wise. If that could be replicated constantly throughout Spring, Summer, and Autumn, like in the Med, not a single player would complain about the weather in Manchester, bar the cold winter, which even Spain gets.
Seen next week's forecast jtb? ;-)...This last week has been perfect weather wise. If that could be replicated constantly throughout Spring, Summer, and Autumn, like in the Med, not a single player would complain about the weather in Manchester, bar the cold winter, which even Spain gets.
Maybe don't sign a 5 year contract to come here then without asking Sergio or Zaba what playing and living in Manchester is really like then ? Do some basic research before signing on the dotted line so you don't start moaning it's colder and wetter than you expected.Players and their wife’s/girflfriends don’t come to Manchester for the weather and the sun. Yeah, i think if the price was a fair bit bigger than what Madrid are willing to play. Another Jesus type player, will never be truly elite. Very good squad player for us who works his arse off.Lots of noise this am that Arsenal are interested for a fee of around £70m.
Realistically do you think City would sell him to us if our offer is significantly higher than Atleticos? He'd get in the Arsenal team as there's no Haaland to get in front of in the starting XI, plus he's very versatile. But it would for sure strengthen Arsenal in the one major area they are still a bit weak in.
He never said he’s unhappy, doesn’t mean if a chance to move to Madrid and be first choice doesn’t appeal when it’s offered.Maybe don't sign a 5 year contract to come here then without asking Sergio or Zaba what playing and living in Manchester is really like then ? The less mobile Haaland scores 25/35 goals per season.I like Alvarez he is such an honest player and gives 100% every game. I think he ran himself ragged often doing the donkey work for the less mobile Haaland.
