Alvarez replacement thread

I've always felt like Diogo Jota would be unreal in a forward position for us. Feels like he could plug the Alvarez gap in terms of goals, probably not assists. Can play mostly all the way across the front line.
Shame it won't ever happen!

If it was a problem then Pep wouldn't keep doing it or in fact going out of his way to seemingly not have an attacking/crossing RB or LB in the team, surely that is obvious?
Id say our success in the past 5yrs proves Pep right.
That assessment is a bit lazy.

Mendy has a good cross. Cancelo in his natural position RB has a good cross as well. And we did not really need that because KDB could provide all from the right hand side in his prime. Pep showed serious interest in Cucu and in the end brought Gomez in who both had a good cross. Gomez defending was too poor to be a PL starter thats it.

However I don't think we have to get a new player. Lets see if Grealish Kova or James etc can develop a good cross if they are given more freedom to roam.

All from Real Madrid's propaganda machine.
If we believe in Real Madrid media propaganda Rodrygo is the world top 3 winger and better than all the attacking midfielder City have except KDB. He will automatically become the starting left winger if he joins City and of course he is a better natural successor of KDB than Foden.

And they cannot explain why Brazil played like sh*t.

LOL

City can put it to bed but seems they let all these transfer rumours carry on till window shuts!
