Thought he was the perfect foil for Aguero until he was injured and then he never got his form back. Timing is a massive determinator. If he hadn't been injured it could have been a superb partnership , as it was he faded away and his fired died out

The thing is, he is the definitive recipe for cult hero: off pitch rumours, devastating and disappointing within a six month spell.
I remember him speaking about his very humble origins in Madrid, he had a street fighters attitude and a bullfighters elan. Until it went pear shaped. He’ll always be fondly remembered with many a ‘what if?!’

Is it needed when Pep's City team scored a frightening amount of goals in recent seasons? Only Aguero gets in the team for me. Jovetic was a wanker and Dzeko had no confidence.

Just scored a goal for Cadiz against Barcelona, only 1 minute after he came in. I thought he stayed two seasons with us, but actually it was only one. I really liked him and it was fun to watch him playing for City, particularly with Kun.
