Can you imagine trying to check 47,000 photo Ids? We'd have to start going in the day before the match to make sure we could all get in for kickoff!

i think he means for away games
Imagine checking 4.5K at Wigan, the majority all cramming in a few minutes before kick off having been drinking since 12ish and in some cases earlier. It'd be a joke, some wouldn't see kick off.

Somehow i don't think we would have been having this debate just over 2 years ago
Well we were. I started getting suspicious when I was going to nearly every other away game but couldn't get tickets for the "glamorous" ones at Anfield & Old Trafford despite having plenty of loyalty points, whereas others who didn't were getting tickets. Someone told me to join a branch as that would enable me to get tickets easily.

Hotel booked for blackpool 7 of us going but only 4 of us will get tickets. The 3 who won't get tickets are looking forward to watching it with the other blues in the pubs around town.

I haven't trawled the full 32 pages so hopefully this will not have been stated before.

My understanding is when we played at the swamp a few years back (got beat 2-0, Tevez scored) is that globally the OSC was allocated 900 tickets of a 3000 allocation. Globally, 1100 applications were made through OSC. So you had an 81% chance of getting a ticket if you were a member irrelavent of your points total.

Totally wrong for me, but as stated previously the OSC is part of the clubs furniture and will never change.

so if osc's got for instance 400 tickets per away game and now they still get 400 tickets why only complain now and not 2/3 years ago

wigan goes on open sale in 2 days time

Exactly, dont see people moaning about tickets for this. go to these games and get the points then theres no need to worry.
Big difference as we've got around 5,000 tickets. And don't be patronising. I've got Wigan tickets and was at Spurs and will (hopefully) be at Newcastle on Boxing Day.

Many of us do go to these games and have got lots of points but can't get tickets for games like Blackpool and the swamp because someone who never sets foot outside CoMS has a mate at the branch and fancies these type of games.
