I think you are missing the point big time Supporters Branches get an alocation but every ticket has to be matched to loyalty points .Not every one who applys for a ticket will get one .As stated before if branches did not get tickets there would be loads of empty seats at the less atractive fixtures .Dont think for a minute it is not regulated & people canot just join & get a ticket

Don i know all about supporters clubs, i help out at one.
Good on you then you know how the system works & that some on here are talking bollocks

If you had a friend who had the required no of points who could not go would you not ask him to get a ticket for you ,that is only what the branches do
You were saying that the branches use other members' points to get tickets for people who wouldn't normally get one. That's fraudulent and, more importantly, illegal.

Isn't this a bit contradictory.

Your complaining that you don't have enough points to get the tickets first, yet you are also slagging those with less off for jumping the que.

So basically everyone is wrong except the people in the middle.

Its called life, get used to it.

Is it illegal for players to get tickets who are not going to use them .is it ilegal for sponsers to get tickets & sell them on because they are not going .Is it illegal for a Ticket Forum to be on here so people who are not going can get shut of there tickets?

i hope this helps, when we played bolton away in carling cup a couple of years back, i couldnt get a ticket from city as i couldnt get through on phone, so i phoned bolton and said that some of my mates and i was doing the 92 grounds in a season and we havnt been to bolton new ground, could we have 4 tickets to watch there next midweek game which was city. got 4 tickets no probs.

For that match I didn't have enough points and couldn't get a ticket so a friend on mine who was a season ticket holder at Bolton managed to get me a ticket in the Bolton section. Boy what an eye opener, the BW fans were as quiet as the grave even when their players were making a good run. I was on a row practically on my own, just behind the dug out and all I wanted to do was be in with fans who sang or applauded!!

As ridiculous as it sounds, if these people sold on the tickets... then yes I think under the strictest letter of the law, it is illegal.

Strictly speaking - yes it is. Resale of football tickets is currently a criminal offence, whether sold at face value or not.

but osc are given a certin number of tickets by mcfc to sell to members people on here buy their tickets then sell them on thus the ticket being sold twice where as osc are only selling them once

ok to cut a long story short

a sixteen year old blue i know has been boasting about putting a deposit down for blackpool away (note, never been to an away game in her life- yet sounds like she has a ticket)

to put a long story short, i was fuming at this, telling her to buy tickets through the club so that she can qualify directly for tickets

its a joke, i have over 4000 pts, dont use branches, yet if i cant get a ticket after many years of crap aways for this one, and someone like her can, the whole ticket system for OS clubs needs sorting

What about going to the Points of Blue meeting on the 6th October and raising it there?

It is just a suggestion don't shoot me down, I realise it wont help for the Blackpool game but if you feel so strongly about it at least tell them.

The OSC DO NOT get an automatic allocation, each branch has to apply for tickets well in advance of when the tickets are released and are NOT guaranteed to get the amount they ask for. They have a certain length of time for branch members to take advantage and then return any unsold tickets.
The loyalty point system is still in use, admittedly for the big games.

Some branches are clique, London OSC being a prime example, boy have I had some run ins with them !
