I agree. People forget quickly. One thing people keep forgetting as well seems to be that players from the continent are used to having a winter break. It's important and a lot of players fizzle their first season shortly after the nutty Christmas period in England, especially if combined with an injury.

Those goals from the beast all look fantastic, but how many times did he score us crucial goals in the premier league when we were up against the wall and needed him? He scored against the dippers but he did his best to blow that.
I think the beast is expendable and would snap a buyers hand off if they offered north of 20 million. When push came to shove at the crucial time of the season it was Dzeko who stood up to be counted. For me, Negredo is fourth choice striker. It is really worth having a 20 million pound asset who is approaching 30 being sat on the bench when he is unhappy at the club (allegedly)?
