And so it begins...

No movement on Richards or Sinclair? Both are decentish players on their day, surprised Southampton haven't come in for both to be honest.

Most likely is Jimmy out and someone like Di Maria in.

I think you need to put your own crack pipe down fella.

The above is about as likely as us buying a Kangaroo and putting that on the wing.

I take it the nuances of the English language escape you.

I've made the relevant bits extra big so you can clue yourself in. Milner's got a year left on his contract and is desperate to leave. If he leaves he'll be replaced by another winger otherwise we will be short of players.

We are not in a position to sell a homegrown player and replace him with a foreigner, be it Di Maria or someone 'like' him. The only player like Di Maria I'm aware of in that position of similar ability that is homegrown would be Gareth Bale. I refer to my previous kangaroo comment.

We simply won't be buying any attacking, big name, big money, foreign players unless we sell one or two.

If you'd have said replace Milner with someone like Theo Walcott, it would have been a more sensible comment.

Do we need to replace Yaya?? If he goes this season so be it but I would rather us stick to what we have if we can't get a good replacement in. I look at Nasri and could well see him in the Yaya role. Get him more central or Silva we have options in the squad already to do with out Yaya. Who knows if he goes we might well go and get a natural left sided winger in or whatever. Iaain't too fussed as I think Peli and the club has this all sorted and have thought every scenario.

Whatever it is that's been going on with yaya,I personally think it's been going on a lot longer than since all the birthday bollocks came out.
Have a look at his celebration when he scored at palace,to me he seems pissed off with summat, then shoves Milner out of the way.I can't remember the other game, but he scores and dzeko is first over to him and he does the same, just shoves him out of the way.I noticed it a few times towards the end of the season.Maybe it's just me,or has anyone else noticed it?
I personally think he'll go and I'll be gob smacked if we ain't got a replacement lined up.

Nah, he does it all the time
Look at his first goal celebration at Newcastle from 2012 and after his wonder goal in the League Cup Final last season

Hang on, I want to hear more about this Kangaroo we are signing. Does he track back? How do you think he'd settle in Manchester if he does come (might rather the glitz and glamour of Landon), what's he like on FIFA/Football manager and have you any youtube vids. Not been this excited about a potential signing since I heard we were in for Zaha

His name is Joey something or other, otherwise I've no clue.

I wonder if the silence on Bruno Zuculini is as much to do with waiting on any outgoings as much as looking for a good loan club in Spain? Maybe he'll stay with us next season?

I've heard he has got a good jump on him.

Just hope he's experienced, the last Joey we had was a bit of a dick....

He's a fantastic jumper. He can skip down the wing. And he has defenders in his pocket. Sign him up!

Simply put, you're wrong. And if you hadn't been so quick to jump in with both feet without engaging your brain you'd have known that. All I said was if Milner goes, we will replace him with someone like Di Maria. What I mean by someone like Di Maria is an attacking wide player of the requisite quality to be in our squad.

Your homegrown comment is equally wide of the mark IMO because I don't see the club making long term transfer decisions based on a one season sanction. ie. If Milner goes and the replacement the club want is a foreign player they will sign them because the alternative which you're suggesting is to make do with someone like Scott Sinclair who's clearly not good enough or go and buy an English winger who is good enough when patently there are none available.

He'll be easy to sign up now his agent is doing 5 years 9 months.
