At first it was for the Scotland trip, now the American trip.

i think they leave only by the 21st...so there is time...hope it's sorted as early by this weekend

so then we can focus on the preseason and the toure issue

I imagine that is a focus regardless. And needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I hope that City have demanded a private clarification with Yaya and have made their thoughts clear to him and Seluk in no uncertain terms.

So new centre half (probably Mangala), Fernando, Sagna, Caballero and Zucullini in and all at about the £49m limit.

Kolarov and Nasri new contracts done it looks as though Negredo is staying.

Barry and Lescott gone. Lopes gone on loan.

Next new contracts for Dzeko and Hart and Milner's future to be sorted and Richards and Sinclair to be sold. Rodwell to be loaned or sold.

The known unknowns are Toure, Milner and the potential Napoli move for Garcia. If they go they'll need replacing though our hands will be a little tied with how that's done.

Really the biggest issue left will be future of Toure.

Are we looking a shifting a foreign bit part player to be replaced by a english bit part player to bring us in line with prem and eufa rules? Ie garcia???

Still astonished Boyata got a contract extension I dont buy its because he's homegrown as we could have replaced him with an EDS player or not at all...we don't have to meet the quota, we could just have one less player. My guess is Pelle likes Boyata but I suppose we will never know.

Good to hear a decision has been made between Mangala and Benatia. I guess Mangala has told us his decision. My gut feel is that he said no so we've gone back for Benatia.

If Mangala/Benatia joins, someone *has* to leave or can't play Premier League + Champions League football because we'd be over the quota. There's no one in our non-homegrown crew I can see accepting only domestic cup games.

It has to be Garcia leaving, surely, and it's hard to see any other non-homegrown joining that unless we're forced into selling Yaya (looks like Negredo stays now?).

and a third if Yaya goes I'd guess. Thing is that would leave an excess of NHG players so I'd be surprised if Garcia stayed.

If Garcia Milner Yaya and Rodwell left our midfield would be dangerously sparse.

as far as I remember all signings were made on deadline day...

presently 3 of our 4 required signings have already been made and what i have read here now...the 4th one will be rapped up soon :)

Why? Because we haven't bought someone that you want in your FIFA 15 team? In the transfer window you mention, we panicked and bought 5 players on deadline day. We've already done most of our business and it's still early in July. There are no similarities at all.
