I haven't been told who it is yet but it was late last night. The time has come!

Bruno Zuculini is training with the Blues in Scotland as part of their pre-season preparations.

The player's social media page now describes him as a 'Manchester City player' and in recent days his Twitter account has posted pictures of him with Alvaro Negredo and Willy Caballero.

Zuculini has also followed a number of Blues stars on the site, including Javi Garcia, David Silva, and new signings Caballero and Bacary Sagna.

It appears the transfer bringing him to the Etihad from Racing Club is just awaiting official confirmation, with the Argentine very much being treated as part of the City squad.

hope it's not him

I've got a bad feeling about this transfer window. Reminds me of the one after we last won the league.

Yep. As all our competitors improve drastically. Prepared to get demolished at by the sunshine pumpers though. Same thing happened 2 years ago.

Got to love the mard arses!

Go on then, spell out what we should have done, remembering our £49m net limit. A lot of what you'll suggest won't be as easy as it'll sound when you write it (get rid of Rodwell/Garcia etc - to where?), but ignoring that, what have we done wrong?

My penny's worth - we still need a centre half and it's clearly on the shopping list. I'd have got shut of Yaya, but that won't be easy and it has a major effect on our other plans. I'd have looked to bring Sanchez in, although it would have meant getting rid of Navas and Dzeko or Negredo, so probably couldn't have been sorted and could have eaten into the budget for the centre half.

Not exactly sure that it's been a disaster of a window though, so I look forward to seeing your explanation of what has gone wrong

Who else is avaible out there? I mean big names. We need to sign a big name!!

How many letters does he have to have in his name?

Vidal or Pogba allegedly, Di Maria, possibly Benzema, Khedira (don't know if thats big enough for some).

Can't see us signing any of those

Will there be any more signings after the center back position is sorted? I imagine we'll have a few quid left over from a couple sales.

A couple more if Rodwell and Milner leave.

richards and sinclair as well i suppose, but that would leave us a bit short on homegrown players

That's my worry, to be honest, with Lescot & Barry already gone, how many "homegrown" players would we be left with if Richards, Milner, Sinclair & Rodwell were also allowed to leave?

Hopefully its good news on a CB

Not sure why people are flapping, look at our squad FFS - this was always going to happen, its the only way blatter and his boys could put the breaks on

We don't need to spend £200m, unlike the twats over the road
