Bruno Zuculini is training with the Blues in Scotland as part of their pre-season preparations.

The player's social media page now describes him as a 'Manchester City player' and in recent days his Twitter account has posted pictures of him with Alvaro Negredo and Willy Caballero.

Zuculini has also followed a number of Blues stars on the site, including Javi Garcia, David Silva, and new signings Caballero and Bacary Sagna.

It appears the transfer bringing him to the Etihad from Racing Club is just awaiting official confirmation, with the Argentine very much being treated as part of the City squad.

hope it's not him

Hopefully its good news on a CB

Not sure why people are flapping, look at our squad FFS - this was always going to happen, its the only way blatter and his boys could put the breaks on

We don't need to spend £200m, unlike the twats over the road

I agree.

We only need priority signings this summer and if we have enough left over for a luxury then great.

I don't understand some Blues needs for a killer signing, Atletico Madrid lost Falcao last summer yet they nearly won a La Liga and Champions League double, is their squad better than ours? I don't think so.

Once we get our signings in place Pellegrini will have a squad that if he coaches and manages correctly it can win the Champions League.

totally agree with you, look at the way pellers wants / needs to play. he has to have the right type of players to implement that over all competitions.

No disrespect to lescott or garcia for example, but they can't play that way

Fernando, and either mangala / benatia clearly can, which ultimately makes us stronger, without needing to increase the number of players

The signings we have made so far,and the the ones we are still chasing......make us so much stronger. Our weaknesses are being addressed,we already have an incredibly enviable first 11,and these new players will now ensure injuries/suspensions etc. will allow us to compete in all competitions without impacting greatly on the quality available.

We have a great team, with great attitude and morale,we don't want to upset that balance, just enhance it...... and these signings will, imo, ensure that.

We should (and are) signing areas of need.

If we make the right choices no reason why we can't continue as a successful team who collect trophies while progressing on and off the pitch into areas we could only has dreamed of a few years ago.

Now is great. Tomorrow is sublime.

Only injuries and soft tissue ones at that will stop us from being right up their again this season.

We had a shocking run with them last season and much more prudent effort and money must be spent on ensuring we get the maximum from the likes of VK, SA, Jova, Rodwell , Nasty, etc this year.

Sports science and injury prevention will take over as the big factor in deciding titles as the game becomes quicker and quicker.

Players like Micah Richards that find it difficult to adapt to the changing needs required to play at the highest level required to win trophies will fall by the wayside quickly.

If you look at the amount of game time our best eleven spent on the pitch last season only Arsenal can compare in terms of what it meant to restricting our ability to put more than 86 points together throughout the season.

It was an incredible effort to win the title when you consider what actually occurred.

It actually eclipsed the effort under RM when Manure collapsed and handed it to us in 2012.

My bonus structure would not be a goal bonus or clean sheet bonus but at the end of the season the players get say £1k per postive goal in the goal difference column. Would mean everyone in the team would see the benefit in both attacking and defending

£1k?! That's a shit bonus! People in sales get better than that! You want to reward players with £50,000 approx! Need to offer a bit more than that!

Per goal. And was only an example. Could be £10k/£20k/£50k whatever. The goal difference was 65 last year so each player would get 65 times the bonus amount. Each goal counts both scored and conceded. No player has to be greedy, players will want to defend as well as attack, all players get the same so no fall outs on that - they just negotiate there own "basic"
