Any boyband. They've probably sold more records combined than anyone in the world that has talent. Plus:

Oasis, Stone Roses, Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs, James, The Who, Deep Purple.
 
People seem to think this is a thread about the bands they hate the most instead of the most overrated band.

For me it's the Beatles, they did a few good songs and are not a bad band BUT they are massivly overrated. Somewhat like Rooney really, very good footballer but no where near the world beater he is painted as by the media.
