Well the fact he gets a mention,as i'm doing now, after each game proves he's the real deal on the pitch, almost unplayable, given his size, strength and bravery, this fella would be perfect alongside Tevez, could be our new Quinny....

A move would probably do him alot of favours off the pitch as well, weighing up the pros/cons,i've altered my previous opinion and reckon he's worth the gamble.

Is Manchester better or worse for night life? I suppose it's the company he keeps. The Newcastle fan at work told me he would hate to see him leave but fears he would do a "Shearer" and stick with the club.

Should go elsewhere, reckon it will be Chelsea.

If you believe the papers, Ashley wants to cash in on him and with Hughton gone, not much may stand in his way. If true, this is a bit sad as Carroll seems to love the club but money talks. Liverpool apparently interested, he'd cost 15-17 mil. If our first choice players (Dzeko, Torres, Hulk?) don't pan out, I wonder if we will go in for him or target someone like Llorente (who Spurs are said to be keen on).

Scored 9 so far this season, 1 less than Tevez and that's playing for Newcastle.....

I've not seen much of him but I'm starting to fall into the "sign him" camp, from what I have seen he is good in the air, brave and he seems to have a belting shot on him.

My biggest concern is his attitude, his fighting and those court cases, if he isn't going to sort himself out and grow up then I wouldn't be bothered if he stayed at the toon.

Sign him up! If not
Don't be surprised if he's signed up by the rags or our CL contender rivals!
He's worth the gamble.Same as we did with Mario.

Insurance against us losing Tevez with no backup with Ade gone!

Increasing City core of England team lineup!

He had a good game for the national team tho' slightly injured.

great quote in there from Roeder, "I'd select him but I am not sure he should play" - what the fuck does that mean Glen?

He will go to the rags or Chelsea IMO, City are not attractive enough yet except for thr money.

Yet more accomplished England internationals have joined us?

We have (or soon, will have had) much bigger name forwards than Carroll and we can outbid United or Chelsea, if we want to, and in the end that's what matters.

Still think Dzeko is a class above but wouldn't turn my nose up at Carroll signing.

He is not good enough as much as Hesky, pub player at best who will soon be found out.
