That's because the parallels are precisely what I meant.
Some of us believe that our relationship with Europe should be exactly what some Scots believe should be with England. You don't hate the English, do you? You don't hate England? You want to continue to trade with England, right? Retain some semblance of a relationship? All you're saying is you want to end the political association with England. You see Scotland prospering outside of the UK union and your sole desire is to merely be a trading partner, not a political partner.

It's based on a number of things, some to do with brexit, some not, but based on my understanding of what is going to happen with regards to brexit (just see IDS's assessment this morning that 'Europe needs us'. they don't) we are very likely to going to end up with a brexit which is going to wreck our economy.
