@Bill - I raised this in the Johnson thread.

Not for me to speak on your behalf - but I doubted your views were acturately reflected.

Now that you have confirmed that - we will probably both receive a fulsome apology - to accompany the explanation about how your message could be so mis-read

mate these are little people with no life.they have a particularly weak moral fibre.their hero got spanked at the polls and it hurts,so they deflect . i am old, grey and severely disabled but i'd rather be me all day long.

As you appear to be addressing that at me I was wondering what hero of mine got spanked at the polls. Corbyn’s a **** and Johnson’s a bigger ****. If they could both have lost that would have been the ideal result.

At least you have the courage to stand behind your hero, Johnson, even though nearly everyone else now thinks he’s a useless dick. The ones without moral fibre are those that slate Johnson but are happy he’s leader just because he’s delivering Brexit.

it doesn't mean they want people to lose their lives.

Now that we’ve established on the Johnson thread that for some people getting Brexit done takes precedence over having a competent government that would have a better chance of saving British citizens’ lives, the fanaticism is clear and obvious. Reasoned discussion is pointless.

If there were more lifeguards on the beach less people would drown in the sea. That wouldn’t mean I want people to drown.
Same principle applies to your post.

Does it matter - pandemic or not the jobs are going now so anything post No Deal can be apportioned accordingly depending on the reasons the sacking employer gives - Leavers own it all.
Bless

But frankly I will be glad to own it all

Genuine question: Will you be rushing onto some appropriate thread in the future - should we be witnessing the inevitable implosion of the EU - to say something along the lines of:

"Where the fuck are MCFC1632 and all those others that had the resolve to see where this federal shit was going and the guts to vote accordingly?

I just want to say a big fucking thank you

I remember at the time what an obnoxious fucker I was - giving out shit left right and centre - but, hey, you know what they say about hindsight.....

Anyway, on behalf of by children and their future generations - I raise a glass….."

Because.….

If in, say 5 years time, this is seen as a utter fuck up and that Leaving has done (net) major damage to the UK - I will indeed be on here to man up (@west didsblue please take note) and accept that I was utterly wrong and be campaigning to re-join

Will you? Can I bookmark such a post?
