The failure to engage with the reality of Brexit
Indeed. The day after the ref everyone should have accepted the result and got on with planning a post EU Britain.

What are you on about? We’ve left. The vote has been implemented.A democratic majority won yes and want that result implemented.
Trump?
Those trying to stop the above seem a tad more "Trumpian" right now imo.
The day after the ref the vast majority did accept the result. What did you do toward planning a post EU Britain? Please don't tell us you'd never given it a thought.Indeed. The day after the ref everyone should have accepted the result and got on with planning a post EU Britain.
Remain over the last few years has been presented as a fairy tale solution to nearly every societal, financial or environmental woe that could befall us - the latest being covid. This is just as extreme as any of the 'sunny uplands' bollocks. I don't expect you to see any one who thinks remain as extreme - that's how extremism works. That’s a cop out excuse. No one has ever claimed membership is a magic solution and ‘gamesmanship’ was played on both sides of the divide or have you forgotten the shenanigans employed by the ERG or even the DUP until they were sold down the river?
The failure to engage with the reality of Brexit is no different to Republicans and Conservatives in the US failing to engage with the reality of Covid 19. You guys are only equipped to fight the fictitious enemies that exist in your own heads.
You think Covid-19 will impact the UK to a higher level than the Euro-Zone?Both reports prior to Covid19 pandemic ........ Of which it can be said has impacted economically.

A currency that doesnt work for all it's member states doesn't work.
They either accept shared debt or the whole construct falls to pieces with severe economic consequences. Sadly we won't escape blast damage when it eventually happens.

I'm not worried about us. We'll be fine.Covid 19 will impact Eurozone countries to differing degrees based on the respective economies, and governmental, cultural and environmental make up of the countries in question. This is no different to individual states in the US being impacted differently.
The only question that matters to us right now is how will the UK be impacted and are we capable of navigating ourselves out of this crisis. The EU countries are building their own life raft so I would suggest stop worrying about them and hypothetical concerns about the Euro and start worrying about us.
Wouldn't expect you to see any view except your own - very much standard. Your views however seem to have no traction outside your own narrow cabal or with the public in general. I'll wish you well and leave you to it.Nope. Not once. Remain has been argued for maintaining barrier free movement for the transaction of goods, services and people. The very things that keep this country running and for which right now we have no alternative. This is just objective fact.
On Covid we bolloxed ourselves with no help from anyone else. Indeed we deliberately refused to be helped by anyone else or learn any lessons from anyone else. From lockdown, mask wearing, PPE, testing, track and trace it has been a tale of shoddy incompetence mixed with short sighted exceptionalism. Which pretty much sums up Brexit and its adherents.
